A) retina, lateral geniculate nucleus, superior colliculus, pulvinar, striate cortex, other visual areas.
B) retina, superior colliculus, pulvinar, striate cortex, other visual areas.
C) retina, superior colliculus, pulvinar, other visual areas.
D) retina, pulvinar, superior colliculus, other visual areas.

Tectopulvinar System

Projections from the retina to the superior colliculus to the pulvinar (thalamus) to the parietal and temporal visual areas.

Visual Pathway

The network of neurons and structures involved in processing visual information from the retina to the visual cortex and other parts of the brain.

Striate Cortex

Primary visual cortex (V1) in the occipital lobe; shows stripes (striations) on staining.
